1930

From the humble beginnings of a pearl merchant to a multinational brand, Al Zain has come a long way. The family's forefather, the late Hassan Al Zain, began the business as a trader of pearls back in 1930. During the days when Bahrain's trade relied mostly on farming, fishing and pearl diving, he was regarded as a pioneering entrepreneur of his time.

It was his son, Nabeel Al Zain, the current Chairman who spearheaded the swift expansion of Al Zain with great determination.

Nabeel shared his father's love for aesthetics, inherited his artistic eye for detail and appealed to his core values of integrity. Nabeel Al Zain began steering the brand identity into a modern-day enterprise with 14 boutiques across the Middle East and a recent global expansion into the United States, showcasing Arabian inspired jewels in New York and across the continent

Today, Al Zain is driven by a bold vision to re-introduce our rich Arabian heritage to a global audience where authenticity and uniqueness are at the forefront of every collection.

Al Zain is focused on creating a variety of exquisite pieces that entice passionate jewellery connoisseurs. The Kingdom of Bahrain, the hub of Al Zain, houses two state of the art factories, where experts in design and highly skilled artisans have been trained from grandfather to father to son. Al Zain takes great pride in its quality and craftsmanship and to this day all products are handcrafted.

Manufacturing art pieces ranging from contemporary everyday 18k jewellery, to bespoke high jewellery, as well as traditional Arabian jewellery crafted in a unique hue of 21k gold, Al Zain is proudly Arabian and remains loyal to its legacy while modernizing it for today’s global clientele.
